Delegation from Anglia Ruskin University Paid A Visit to NUIST for Further Cooperation


    On November 25, a delegation of five led by Richard Andrews, the Vice President of Anglia Ruskin University paid a visit to NUIST for future cooperation between Anglia Ruskin University and NUIST. Vice President Niu Shengjie met with them in the reception room. The heads from the International Affairs Office and School of Media and Art attended the meeting.

    Vice President Niu extended his warm welcome to the delegation and gave a brief account of the history, disciplines features as well as the development strategy of internationalization. He stated that NUIST attach great importance to internationalization, especially focus on international education to students studying at NUIST and international training to faculty of NUIST. We wish NUIST could cultivate high-quality creative talents with international horizon and international competitiveness that meet changes and the demands of times. We also wish NUIST could build a group of faculty with international quality in order to actively promote the process of internationalization of scientific research cooperation. Representatives from Anglia Ruskin University introduced the basic situation of the degree programs and students education. The joint program collaborated between Anglia Ruskin University and NUIST on Digital Media Art started to enroll students in 2013.

    After the meeting, the delegation inspected the studios with an area of 500 square meters, the IMAC Room, the CG room, the 3D Digital Projection Booth, the Interactive Media Lab and the Meteorological Animation Lab of NUIST.
